Pro-Torque Releases Dodge Cummins Diesel and V10 Magnum Torque Converters
Pro-Torque,

released its modified torque converters for Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesels
and V10 Magnums. Significant gains in throttle response, acceleration,
towing and fuel efficiency are possible with Pro-Torque's custom-build
torque converters that lower factory stall speed from 2,000-2,500rpm
levels to the 1,600-1,900rpm range where maximum torque is produced.

converter to your specific needs.) A Pro-Torque converter eliminates
that "spongy" feel when you step on the accelerator pedal. This reduced
converter slippage also results in less heat generation for longer
transmission life.
With standard torque converters less stall speed equates to less torque multiplication. Pro-Torque utilizes the most efficient converter designs available that provide a greater torque multiplication factor at lower stall speeds. They also strengthen each converter by furnace brazing the turbine assembly and installing Torrington bearings on stator and pump surfaces in place of the factory thrust "bushings". Pro-Torque also increases durability by increasing the lock-up clutch surface area by more than 15-percent and replaces the factory organic clutch material with a more durable ceramic-impregnated clutch material.
