ProTorque Introduces New Line of Hi Performance Bypass Micro Filters

A Ford Motor Company study concluded “Component wear is directly related to the cleanliness level of the system. Particles smaller than .5 microns can cause great damage.”

Cleaner fluid results in better performance of the entire system, slower wear of internal components and extended life of the transmission. This radially wound depth- type filter element is superior to the traditional pleated paper element in fluid cleaning, as well as in its capacity to hold particles. The filter ensures that particles are not passed through with the fluid or released. This system also preserves fluid integrity by keeping the system clean in between service intervals.

High performance transmissions provide the latest in power transfer and convenience. But these systems add a great deal of contamination to the transmission fluid. The cleanliness of the transmission fluid is a benefit to the entire system in that it:
